- Shorter Duration:The test has been reduced to approximately 85–90 minutes (linear format has become adaptive).
- New Scoring Scale:Shift from 0–120 to a 1–6 band scale, which aligns with CEFR levels. A 0–120 comparable score will still be provided for two years.
- New Task Types:Includes “Complete the Words” (Reading), “Listen and Repeat” (Speaking), and “Build a Sentence” (Writing).
- Structure:Reading, Listening, Writing, and Speaking, all aimed at academic, university-level English.
- Validity:2 years.
